Stepnica
Renomed moviemaker and director Alexander Pfander has designed and realized a story concerned with social problems typical for small polish-catholic town societys of today. German Journalist Victor Stein is travelling to Stepnica, small town nearby German/polish border, tries to research the origins and where-abouts of his mother which he lost at an early age. Being a German Victor is not welcomed at all, they even try to kill him, but nationality is not the only reason. But Victor is neither ready nor willing to leave that murderous place. Because, deep inside, he feels at home, feels deeply involved with all those people - especially with the local catholic priest and a mysterious policeman.
